Meet the Board

Angela "Anji" Lehigh
CEO & Board President
Anji retired from teaching in 2022 and was immediately hired to be the business manager of a former colleague's NEMT company. She taught special education, work experience, business courses and accounting but had no experience with non-emergency medical transportation. Learning about the great need for reliable NEMT services in rural south central PA sparked a real passion for helping others in this capacity. A year after quitting and hearing that her former company was not able to keep up with the need, she met with Steve and Lori to pitch the idea of creating a non-profit NEMT to not only help individuals with medical needs, but also those on fixed incomes and limited to no insurance assistance to pay for transports.

Brittany Carroll
Board Vice President & Secretary
Brittany has over 6 years of experience in the non-emergency medical transportation industry, with a strong background that spans nearly every role. From driving, scheduling, and dispatching to managing drivers, social media and marketing, Brittany brings hands-on knowledge and leadership to daily operations. In addition, Brittany’s caregiving experience strengthens her compassionate approach, ensuring clients feel supported, respected, and comfortable throughout their transportation experience. Friendly, reliable, and detail-oriented, Brittany is deeply committed to safe, timely service and meaningful care for both clients and teams.

Lori McDaniel
Board Treasurer
Retired from the Commonwealth of PA and currently working part time as an administrative assistant/bookkeeper for a local business. I was born, raised and currently live in Adams County, PA. My husband and I care for 2 disabled family members who live with us. It was a challenge to find appropriate wheelchair transportation during the time frame we needed. This is why ACT is near and dear to my heart so that we may help others get the transportation they need.

Ed Lehigh
Board Member-at-Large
Ed is a retired truck driver and has worked on vehicles and motorcycles most of his life. He was brought out of retirement by his wife Anji to help make Accessible Care Transport a reality. With his general mechanical knowledge and background, he is heavily relied upon to help diagnose issues and maintain ACT's fleet vehicles so they are safe and operational.
