A rideshare service is primarily designed to move passengers from one location to another.  The driver arrives, the passenger gets into the vehicle, and the driver takes them to their destination. For an independent passenger who can easily enter and exit a vehicle, this may work perfectly well.

But medical transportation can involve much more.

• Your Ride Can Still Be Canceled  Rideshare drivers have the ability to accept or cancel trips. • The Price Can Change, Too  Another factor passengers may encounter is changing pricing based on driver availability and demand.  A trip that costs $7 one day could potentially cost $20 or more another day.
